Commercial photo developers make high quality prints from digital images. They have sophisticated equipment, most use traditional photo paper and often can make larger sized prints than possible with your own printer. Commercial prints may even cost less than those printed at home.
Photo sharing websites
After transferring to a computer, upload images to an online photo finisher website such as Ofoto or Snapfish. Their systems make uploading easy even for novice computer users. They have web-based tools for basic online image editing. Order through the site and prints and other photo novelties will be shipped to your mailbox. Some online photo finishers will print your photos and you can pick them up locally within a few hours.
Photo mini-labs and kiosks
Print digital images at a photo mini-lab or kiosk, often found at local supermarkets, pharmacies and neighborhood photo shops. Insert media into a slot then press a few buttons on a touch screen to crop, color correct, select print size and print out images all while you wait. Most kiosks accept images on CD, floppy disks, memory cards and USB Flash Drives. Print quality from these mini-labs is outstanding.
