Printing digital photos

Unlike traditional photography where the entire roll of film needs to be developed, with digital you print only your favorite shots. You can print them at home or have them processed commercially.

To print at home, you'll need a photo printer, inkjet cartridges and special paper. The quality of photo printers is so good that you can produce prints which rival those made in a photo lab.

You may have to fuss a bit with image editing software in the digital darkroom, but printing at home is convenient and, for many, rewarding.

However, printing your own photos is not for everyone. Thankfully, there are several options for having prints made commercially, both online and locally. These professional services are now more convenient and easier to use then ever, and most deliver top-notch prints.
